Irish alt-pop trio The Script and BRIT nominee Pixie Lott are amongst some of the confirmed artists to be playing IonaFest this July.
IonaFest, which is being billed as one of the best music events at sea, will be held onboard P&O Cruise’s brand new ship, Iona (hence the name).
The Script and Pixie Lott will join the likes of Grammy award-winners Clean Bandit and DJs, including Blur’s Alex James, BBC Radio 2 presenter Jo Whiley and four-time MOBO winner Trevor Nelson MBE.
Along with a host of artists, dance group Diversity, comedian Chris Ramsey and Strictly Come Dancing stars Motsi Mabuse, Amy Dowden and Ben Jones will also be on board.
“We are breaking new ground on Iona, with some of today’s biggest music artists performing at Ionafest. This really is the festival of the year and I’m sure that our guests will be just as excited about these new line-up additions as we are.
“The backdrop of the Norwegian Fjords will give guests a dramatic landscape to enjoy a variety of entertainment, incredible acts and mouth-watering pop-up restaurants, making this a truly once in a lifetime opportunity” said P&O Cruises president, Paul Ludlow.
Tickets for IonaFest are on sale now, with the week-long celebration kicking off with the ship’s naming ceremony, taking place on Saturday 4 July 2020.
