On My Holidays!!

When this blog posts I will be on the final day of my 1st cruise with MSC, and the longest cruise we have taken the children on! I am either very very happy or pulling my hair out. I am quite excited to experience MSC, to be honest. With the ships they have on order, the recent additions and having only experienced British or American cruise ships, I really am excited to experience the Italian way.

We will be embarking in Southampton on the 21st of August and we are visiting Brugges, Rotterdam (overnight), Hamburg and Le Havre. Whilst we are docked overnight in Rotterdam we have an excursion booked to Amsterdam which we are excited about as we have never been before, although with the kids in tow we may have to behave ourselves.

Whilst onboard the list is growing as to what the kids and wife would like to see and do, with a visit to the Sushi restaurant top of our eldest daughters list and bowling and waterslide topping the youngest’s. I will, as usual, go with the flow with a beer in hand. The weather looks perfect for the entire week, which is amazing considering how shoddy the month has been so far.

1 week of eating, drinking and being entertained is well overdue and some quality time with my family is very much being looked forward to. On my return, I will be writing a full report on my thoughts on what MSC has to offer and my honest views of the Preziosa as a ship. I always get asked my thoughts on MSC and I am happy to report that I will be able to give my honest opinion.
