Its all Greek to Me!

Greetings from Greece!

I might be sipping a cocktail by the Aegean as I write this, but it doesn’t stop me from thinking of my next holiday! I love Greece and had been to quite a few islands but not enough, so I am thinking about a Greek Island Cruise for 2020.

So many wonderful itineraries that include many Greek Islands including the one Island I have always wanted to visit Santorini.

Everyone has seen those stunning pictures of the bright white buildings against the crystal clear blue. Most Greek island cruises will visit Santorini, and a trip to Thira is a must! Just please don’t use the poor donkeys! An excursion is recommended.

Another highlight is Mykonos, I went to Mykonos a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Mykonos town is a wonderful place, easy to get lost in the cobbled Streets. The little Venice area was fab and a great stop for a refreshing Mythos or two. If you want a day on the beach, the local buses were fab and you could be at Shirley Valentines beach in under 20 mins.

NCL have a wonderful sailing from Venice – Kotor – Corfu – Santorini – Mykonos – Argostoli & Dubrovnik

This looks a wonderful 7-night trip and includes a stop in Croatia which is also high on my list.

A lot of these ports of call are great for just getting off the ship and doing your own thing, no need to spent hundreds of pounds more to do trips.

Offers are coming in thick and fast now so a good time to book your 2020 cruise. Including a great 1 pound per person low deposit!

Have you been on a Greek Island Cruise? What was your favorite port of call? I would love to hear from you.

Keep Cruising,

Love Bonnie x x
