Not quite a cruise…

Well you may have read my blog a couple of weeks ago about me having to cancel the Caribbean cruise I should have been going on ‘ The MSC Seaside.

I would have just arrived home now actually but due to my husband being unwell we thought it was best to cancel it. We didn’t rebook another holiday for now instead I had a lovely week off at home blessed with some lovely sunshine !!! I had a long list of jobs I wanted to get done so that I didn’t get the urge to log on my work computer and get distracted. I got all my fences painted and decking all cleaned and stained, garden is all lovely and tidy ready for my spring/summer flowers and I have a sparkling clean office. I also had a few meals and lunches out, enjoyed some pampering and retail therapy. All in all a really good week off.

Whilst you are reading this I will be in the Isle of Man, we are going with my son’s rugby team for their tournament and I have to say although it’s not quite a Caribbean cruise I am really looking forward to it. We are there for 4 full days and the weather forecast looks like it is going to be very kind to us. There are about 30 of us going we have a coach to take us to the ferry terminal at Heysham and then the bit I am least looking forward to is the 4-hour ferry crossing, I am fine on a cruise but its been years since I have travelled on a ferry and not my greatest experience! We have lots of great things planned for the days we are there so it should really be a fun-filled few days.

I have not been to the Isle of Man for probably over 20 years I used to go quite a lot when I was younger so really looking forward to reminiscing.

I hope you all have a lovely Easter weekend.
