A DeJa Vu of last year ….

This is similar to this time last year I’m sure, how on earth have I fitted everything in ?
Well it has been an extremely busy month for me both with work and play, all I can say is thank god I can plan my own shifts in my job.
I started off the first weekend in July jam-packed of plans, I had a lovely night out with my best friends watching a show in Blackpool.
Then the birthday celebrations started for a very special lady in my life who was turning 60 so we booked a surprise meal for her , not quite the reaction that I thought we would get as she was in floods of tears obviously happy tears thankfully.

My husband and I then had a shopping day for our holidays before we then met my best friend for a meal to celebrate her birthday.
We didn’t have a late-night as I had to rest before my debut game of Rugby. As you know my son plays Rugby so we decided to meet up for a Barbeque and have Parents versus sons games of Rugby. It was a great day and the Rugby was great fun although the rules really blew my mind !!! Im afraid I have no photo evidence of this to share.

The 60 th birthday celebrations then continued with a ladies afternoon of Pimms and Prosecco and lots of laughter as we shared happy ( somewhat embarrassing) memories.

My daughter also turned 19 last weekend and decided to plan a party for herself and invited family and friends along which was a great night. It’s nice to mingle with all the young ones, It doesn’t seem two minutes since I was 19.

I have just spent a lovely 2 days with my sisters.I am blessed to have 3 sisters who live nearby and we are all really close. It is also very difficult to actually all get together as we all lead busy lives so nice to dedicate a bit of time to us. We only went up the road to Preston so not far we stayed in a gorgeous 5* 2 bedroomed apartment.

As you can see there was plenty of eating and drinking and not so much shopping done but it was the hottest day of the year .We had a great time though and are already planning next years night away.

Before the end of the month we are going camping for the weekend with our Rugby friends so I’m sure that will be a great weekend. We will then be off on our family cruise where I will hopefully be able to then relax.

I have also managed to fit in work and had an unbelievably busy month.

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and let’s hope it lasts for a few more weeks.
