Dublin & a Royal for me….

This time next week I will be on board Royal Princess for 2 nights.  I’m really excited to see one of the larger Princess Cruises ships as I’ve only been on Emerald for a short 3 night mini-cruise.  I’ve seen Caribbean Princess on a ship visit years ago.

Myself and my colleague Nicola are flying out to Dublin on Friday 4th May and spending the night in a hotel for one night so we can enjoy Dublin before we get on board on Saturday 5th May for 2 nights.

We visit Belfast on 6th May and I’ve never been here so really looking forward to it. Then we disembark in Greenock (Glasgow) and I am getting the train back to Coventry.

So only a short break but I’m really looking forward to it.

I spoke to one of my clients who lives in Dublin today and advised him I was coming over so he will arrange to meet us for a drink,  I love putting a face to a name when I’ve booked customers numerous time.

No doubt I will be testing the ‘Guinness’ again as I have been to Dublin before but only in winter when it’s freezing! I just hope this weather perks up a bit as it’s gone like winter again and we’re almost in May – come on summer it’s been too long… I’ve checked the weather forecast and it says sunny & 17′ so just hope it is.

Royal Princess was christened by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge in June 2013 – so Royal Princess celebrates 5 years this year.
She is 141,000 tonnes & carries 3,600 passengers so one of the biggest in the fleet. I’ll tell you more next time.

Will I be brave enough to walk across the sea walk, a cantilevered glass walkway over the side of the ship on the top deck – I’m sure I will..
