A few weeks ago I entered into a draw to win a place onboard the Princess Mega Fam and I won. I am so excited, I have never been on a Princess ship so I am looking forward to spending 3 nights onboard. So, before I embark I thought I would learn more about Princess Cruises. In this blog, I am going to write about what Royal Princess has to offer. Then once I have been onboard I can share my experience with you all.
Royal Princess – She has been sailing since June 2013 and has been christened by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge. Royal Princess is one of Princess’ mid-sized ships holiday 3,560 guests.
Entertainment
You can experience lots of different types of entertainment, such as; Original musicals, dazzling magic shows, feature films, top comedians, and nightclubs. There’s something for everyone and something happening all around the ship. Here are some of the things on offer;
Movies Under the Stars® – Watch a movie, day or night a the open air poolside amphitheater.
The Voice of the Ocean – Princess’ version of ‘The Voice’ onboard. Think you’ve got what it takes? Why not enter.
Princess® Watercolor Fantasy Show – A spectacular water and music show.
Original Musical Productionsin the Princess Theater– Amazing Broadway-style shows onboard.
Music & Dancing – A vast array of music and dancing shows around the ship day and night.
Featured Guest Entertainers – World class entertainments from magicians to comedians and many in-between.
Club 6 – The Nightclub onboard.
Cabins & Suites
There are 6 different cabin types to choose from. These are; Suites, Club Class Mini Suites, Mini-Suites, Deluxe Balcony Cabins, Balcony Cabins and Interior Cabins. There are also wheelchair-accessible cabins available across these stateroom Types. Onboard Royal Princess there are 3 and 4 berth cabins available in selected cabins.
Dining
There are some great dining venues onboard both included in the price and also specialty dining. Here are the inclusive dining options offered onboard;
Main Dining Room – Anytime Dining℠ & Traditional Dining are the 2 options for dining in the main dining room.
Crafted By Curtis Stone – Within the Main Dining room, cuisine designed by famous chef Curtis Stone.
Chocolate Journeys℠ – Amazing Chocolate handcrafted by Norman Love and available in the main dining room and at Horizon Court.
Alfredo’s Pizzeria – A sit down pizzeria named after master chef Alfredo Marzi.
Horizon Court – The buffet restaurant which is open throughout the day, offering an array of worldwide cuisine.
International Café– The sip and snack restaurant which is open 24 hours a day.
Trident Grill – The Trident Grill is a poolside restaurant. During the day you can order things like hot dogs, burger, and sandwiches and at night it turns into a BBQ restaurant.
24-hr Room Service – If you don’t fancy leaving your cabin then you can order room service 24 hours a day.
