The ship features a full-scale Prima Speedway, a go-kart track spanning three decks, alongside adrenaline-pumping slides like The Drop, a 10-storey dry slide that offers a plunge faster than a falling tear.

Add in a state-of-the-art VR arcade, mini-golf, and laser tag, and you have a playground that rivals any land-based theme park.

A Masterclass in Modern Dining

Dining is another area where Norwegian Prima excels. With more than 20 bars and restaurants onboard, the variety is staggering. You’ll find everything from upscale Mediterranean at Palomar to the revolutionary Indulge Food Hall.

This complimentary venue encourages you to try a bit of everything, from Indian dhals to Spanish sausages, and then go back for seconds.

Where Has Norwegian Prima Been Cruising To?

Since her launch, Norwegian Prima has become a favourite for both Northern European and Caribbean adventures. During the summer months, she is often found navigating the dramatic coastlines of Iceland and Norway, where her expansive outdoor decks and infinity pools provide the perfect vantage point for the Fjords.

In the winter and spring, she typically heads across the Atlantic for Caribbean sunshine. Whether it’s the waterfalls of Jamaica, the reefs of Cozumel, or the laid-back luxury of NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Prima is the ultimate vessel for island-hopping freedom.

Luckily for us, one of our very own Cruise.co.uk experts, Erinca Barton, had the chance to step onboard Norwegian Prima while she was docked in Liverpool. Here's what she had to say about the experience onboard this larger-than-life ship...

“I was lucky to get to enjoy a day on the beautiful Norwegian Prima in Liverpool this spring. Having lived 45 mins away from Liverpool my whole life, I've never seen a ship as big as her docked, so just driving up to the terminal was a sight to see! We boarded and were greeted by the Norwegian Cruise Line team. We then embarked on a lengthy 3-hour tour (9000 steps for my Fitbit!) of the ship’s facilities, including The Haven, bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

We saw The Haven, the exclusive area for Haven guests, and the entertainment areas, which included a full go-kart racetrack (legend has it, Orlando Bloom held the top spot for quite some time when he went on the inaugural sailing with Katy Perry, pre-space trip....). A whole area of interactive VR experiences, arcades, water slides and a 180-degree drop slide that descends a full 6 decks!

The restaurants were stunning, and we were shown exactly which ones came with a cover charge (all but 3 are speciality and cover a $40-60 supplement). The Spa was so peaceful and quiet, I'd definitely recommend a thermal pass.

After the tour, we were treated to a slap-up lunch in the Indulge restaurant, one of the complimentary restaurants, and we really did indulge, be rude not to! It was a chore, but we managed to sample pulled pork burger, shish kebabs, Spanish sausage, Indian dahl & korma and of course a little sniff of a white wine!

Every single member of the crew we passed welcomed us on board and was absolutely fantastic. Had a wonderful day and came home very full with very tired feet!”
