Princess Cruises has revealed an exciting expansion to its 2027 Europe programme, confirming that the popular Regal Princess will return to the region for a series of voyages sailing from Southampton.

Set to go on sale to the public on Tuesday 13th January 2026, the new schedule promises a diverse collection of itineraries ranging from short seven-night breaks to epic two-month adventures.

A Summer of European Exploration

The 3,560-guest Regal Princess will sail from April to August 2027. This season represents a significant expansion for the line, covering six distinct regions including the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Baltics, Iceland, and the British Isles.

Designed to offer unprecedented flexibility, the programme features 48 unique voyages that can be booked individually or combined into extended adventures, including new "open-jaw" options that allow for highly port-intensive itineraries without the need to backtrack.

Guests can look forward to exploring 54 destinations across 18 countries, utilising five strategic homeports: Southampton (London), Copenhagen, Reykjavik, Helsinki, and Fort Lauderdale.

The itineraries have been crafted to showcase the best of Europe's heritage, granting access to numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites, medieval walled cities like Visby, and smaller, hidden gems such as Seyðisfjörður and Akureyri alongside major hubs like Edinburgh and Barcelona.

For cruisers looking for the ultimate bucket-list experience, this season introduces the line's most immersive European voyages ever.

These include the monumental 64-night Ultimate European Journey and the sweeping 49-night Northern Europe Explorer, both sailing roundtrip from Southampton (or Copenhagen) and offering overnight stays in iconic ports like Stockholm and Cobh.

A Fleet-Wide Effort

Regal Princess isn't the only ship making waves in the region. She will be joined by three other vessels - Majestic Princess, Sky Princess, and Caribbean Princess - to deliver the line's most comprehensive Northern Europe programme ever.

Together, the fleet will offer unparalleled access to the British Isles, the Baltics, Iceland, Norway, and Scandinavia, positioning Princess Cruises as a leader in European "coolcations".

Mediterranean Adventurer (15 Nights): A roundtrip sailing from Southampton departing 30th April 2027, visiting Cadiz (for Seville), Barcelona, Toulon, Livorno, Corsica, Sardinia, Ibiza, and Cartagena.

Irish Counties & Scottish Shores (8 Nights): Departing Southampton on 25th June 2027, calling at Falmouth, Belfast, Greenock, and offering an overnight in Cobh.

Scandinavia & Baltic Adventure (14 Nights): Sailing Southampton to Helsinki on 15th May 2027, visiting Oslo, Copenhagen, Tallinn, and Warnemunde (for Berlin).

Norwegian & Icelandic Fjords (10 Nights): Sailing Copenhagen to Reykjavik on 10th July 2027, visiting ports such as Stavanger and Akureyri.

British Isles & Icelandic Fjords Explorer (25 Nights): A grand voyage from Reykjavik to Copenhagen departing 15th June 2027, visiting the Orkney Islands, Edinburgh, and Belfast.
