Cunard's newest ship, Queen Anne, has marked her North American debut in New York on her maiden call from Southampton.
Spanning 14 decks, featuring 15 dining venues, and accommodating up to 3000 guests, Queen Anne's call in New York marks the first stop on her 107-day inaugural World Voyage. This journey continues Cunard's long-lasting legacy as the pioneer of world cruises since 1922, bringing travellers together from across nationalities.
For the first time in Cunard's 185-year history, the cruise line has two female leaders in command: Captain Inger Klein Thorhauge is at the helm of Queen Anne, while Katie McAlister (Cunard's President) is steering the company into an exciting era of luxury cruising.
Led by creative director Adam Tihany and a team of world-class designers, the onboard appearance of Queen Anne reflects Cunard's rich art-deco heritage while embracing modern elegance. This can be seen with the exclusive collection of 4300 art pieces each offering a unique interpretation of Cunard's legacy.
Additionally, the ship also elevates onboard entertainment to a new level with innovative venues and experiences, such as the 'Bright Lights Society'- an intimate cabaret-style venue. To please guests even further, the new Pavilion Wellness Café will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, with a menu celebrating plant-based cuisine alongside sustainably sourced meat, fish, and dairy.
Elsewhere onboard Queen Anne, guests can enjoy the Harper's Bazaar Wellness at Sea Programme, offering three-day packages tailored to relaxation, energy restoration, or recovery to provide a rejuvenating journey at sea.
