MSC World America To House Only Eataly At Sea!

MSC Cruises is teaming up with Eataly to bring authentic Italian eats to hungry cruisers! An exclusive 'at sea' branch of the popular eatery, which serves up a tempting array of Italian food and drink, will be hosted onboard all-new ship MSC World America, due to launch next year.

In the restaurant, diners can expect to dive into delicious dishes crafted with specially selected ingredients from Italian suppliers. The restaurant itself will have an open-plan kitchen, feature elegant furnishings and, MSC Cruises says, be a celebration of Italian culture and tradition.

“As an international cruise line with a strong European heritage, we are committed to taking our guests on a gastronomic journey of discovery with the onboard dining experience as we believe that the best memories are made when sharing good food together," said Bernhard Stacher, SVP Shipboard Hospitality Operations, MSC Cruises.

He added: "MSC World America stays true to this philosophy, which is why we have partnered with Eataly – an emblem of Made in Italy and Italian culinary artistry. We share a passion for high-quality, authentic food made with fresh ingredients and together we are creating a unique experience that can only be enjoyed on board MSC World America.”

Eataly will be one of 19 exquisite foodie-focused venues onboard MSC World America, including two buffets, four main restaurants, and four other new exciting dining concepts, such as Paxos Greek Restaurant, Promenade Bites, and Habour Bar & Bites.

Located in the ship's new Promenade district, Paxos Greek Restaurant will be dishing up the flavours of the Mediterranean via a variety of fresh items, from hot pita bread and dips to moussaka and lamb kleftiko. Elsewhere onboard, guests can pick up meaty hot dogs and corn on the cob at Promenade Bites and an array of tasty burritos, cookies, wraps and cold drinks at Habour Bar & Bites.

All these fantastic venues will be available to sample when MSC World America makes her grand debut in 2025. Her inaugural season will be spent cruising through sparkling waters in the Caribbean, visiting MSC Cruises' very own private island Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
