MSC Cruises Unveils Five Brand-New Bar and Lounge Concepts Aboard MSC World Asia

Setting sail on her maiden season from 4th December 2026, MSC World Asia promises to elevate life on board with an unbelievable collection of over 40 bars, lounges, and cafés.

Combining subtle design touches inspired by Asian art and culture with 13 brand-new or reimagined spaces, MSC Cruises' newest flagship offers something special for every mood from day to night.

Here is a closer look at the five fresh bar concepts waiting for you on board her inaugural seven-night Mediterranean itineraries visiting Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Rome, Messina, and Valletta.

1. Clubhouse and Soda Bar

Step into a bright, nostalgic space inspired by the pop culture of the 1980s and 1990s. Designed as a fun social hub for families and friends, the Soda Bar lets you mix your own personalised non-alcoholic drinks using sodas, flavoured syrups, creams, and delicious toppings.

During the day, you can enjoy interactive digital games, a dedicated LEGO play area, and bumper cars nearby, before the space transforms into a lively lounge serving evening cocktails and mocktails.

2. Sky Box Bar

Tucked inside the lively Luna Park Arena, the Sky Box Bar blends intimate luxury with a touch of theatrical flair. Drawing inspiration from early 20th-century Futurism, expert bartenders bring their creations to life through impressive mixology demonstrations.

It is the perfect spot to sip a masterfully crafted cocktail before taking in a live show or to enjoy a stylish late-night drink after the evening entertainment.

3. The Terraces Bar & Lounge

Embrace the effortless charm of an Italian aperitivo while taking in sweeping, panoramic ocean views. Whether you prefer a classic Negroni, an Aperol Spritz, or a glass of fine prosecco, this chic venue pairs your favourite drinks with traditional nibbles like warm focaccia and olives.

Guests can relax to live indoor music or join expert-led wine tastings showcasing regional vintages from the very destinations visited along your route.

4. Coral Cove Bar

Located right beside the outdoor Coral Cove Pool, this relaxing venue takes its design inspiration from the vibrant coral reefs of the Philippines.

Offering a laid-back, sun-soaked atmosphere, it is the ideal spot to grab a refreshing poolside drink, socialise with fellow travellers, or simply unwind under the warm Mediterranean sun.

5. Pan Asian Bar

Overlooking the lively Promenade, this new bar forms part of the ship's Pan Asian Street Food venue. The menu celebrates authentic Southeast Asian flavours, featuring handcrafted cocktails like Jasmine Mojitos, Rose and Strawberry Daiquiris, and Matcha Coladas.

Craft beer lovers can also sample regional Asian brews, including "Oceanic Asian", a speciality draught beer brewed directly on board with subtle oriental notes.
