Luxury Yachts To Star In New Channel 5 Series

Beloved cruise icon and TV favourite Jane McDonald is back at sea, and this time, she’s going from Antarctica to the Arctic in an extraordinary new series for Channel 5.

Set to air in 2026, ‘Jane McDonald: From Pole to Pole’ follows Jane as she embarks on the ultimate global journey, travelling in style aboard Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Sakara. The six-part series, produced by JetSetTV in partnership with Channel 5 and Scenic Group, will showcase some of the world’s most spectacular destinations – from Antarctica’s icy landscapes to the wildlife-rich Falklands, sun-soaked Brazil, the Mediterranean, and all the way to the remote Arctic Circle.

“I’m packing my bags and setting sail again on a brand-new adventure with 5, Scenic Group and JetSetTV. We are going to the ends of the earth to bring some spectacular places into your living rooms. Get the wine open or a cuppa ready, we are going on an adventure," said Jane McDonald.

Throughout her journey, Jane will enjoy life onboard Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yachts, and the 5-star luxury yacht Emerald Sakara.

Expect immersive excursions by Zodiac, kayak, submersible or helicopter, plus a taste of luxury with butler service and almost a 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio on Scenic Eclipse. Meanwhile, Emerald Sakara offers pure indulgence with its Aqua Pool, Wellness Centre and Marina Platform for water sports.
