Carnival Cruise Line has pulled back the curtain on its future culinary strategy, announcing a massive new wave of restaurant concepts, bar venues, and fleetwide menu enhancements under the banner The Next Course.

As a cruise line that carries more than six million guests and serves over 100 million meals annually, Carnival has used its unique guest trend insights to fuel this latest development.

The grand announcement took place during an immersive showcase event in New Orleans, hosted alongside Carnival’s Chief Culinary Officer, the legendary chef Emeril Lagasse.

A dynamic, dual-purpose venue serving premium speciality coffees and breakfast blends by day, before seamlessly transitioning into a chic cocktail lounge as the sun sets.

While the new venues are locked in for the upcoming ships, Carnival is immediately rolling out extensive fleetwide updates to elevate the day-to-day dining experience for all passengers.

Refreshed Everyday Menus

The Main Dining Room is receiving an influx of new culinary creations spanning breakfast, sea-day brunch, and nightly dinners.

The casual Lido Marketplace is introducing a dedicated Lido Family Menu stacked with daily, kid-approved favourites, while the popular BlueIguana Cantina will feature regularly rotating daily Mexican specials.
