MSC Cruises Set To Add Two New World Class Ships To Fleet

MSC Cruises has announced the order of two more World Class ships after signing an order with ship builder, Chantiers de l’Atlantique. This will lead to a total of six World Class ships in the future MSC fleet, with four already delivered or under construction.

Currently referred to as World Class 5 and 6, the two new orders will be delivered in 2029 and 2030, respectively. These ships will further build on the legacy of excellence and innovation established by the World Class, combining top environmental technology with the latest advancements in guest experiences.

The World Class fleet will comprise MSC World Europa and MSC World America, along with MSC World Asia and MSC World Atlantic, which are currently under construction and set to debut in 2026 and 2027, respectively.

MSC World America entered service last month in Miami, creating a new world of cruising with its seamless blend of European style and American comfort. The ship’s new districts, such as Family Aventura with the all-new Cliffhanger thrill ride, already have rave reviews from cruisers.

Additionally, guests who have sailed on MSC World America have also expressed their love for new bar and restaurant concepts, ranging from the All-Stars Sports Bar to the only Eataly Restaurant at sea.

MSC World Atlantic will join the MSC fleet in 2027, offering cruises from Port Canaveral.
