Best for an exceptional dining experience: Wonderland

As the name suggests, Wonderland is based on the classic Alice in Wonderland novel, delivering a unique and imaginative dining experience that ignites all the senses. The fantastical décor sets the scene as you ‘paint’ the menu to reveal the ‘creations’ on offer, which are based on the five natural elements of Earth, Sea, Fire, Ice and Sun.

‘Eat me’: Try the Mad Hatter’s Purple Potted Shrimp or the Oceanic Citrus with Yuzu Granite. ‘Drink me’: Sample the magical Alice-inspired cocktails, including, Down the Rabbit Hole and Cheshire Cat Cosmo. With every element immaculately prepared, expect your tastebuds to tingle and your imagination to be stirred.

Available on Anthem of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, and Symphony of the Seas. Wonderland is a speciality dining venue, so it does cost a little extra.

Best for steakhouse grills: Chops Grille

Chops Grille is a popular choice amongst Royal Caribbean guests. This speciality steakhouse has all the steakhouse favourites on the menu, from filet mignon to rib-eye steaks. 

Their dry-aged steaks are a must-try for meat lovers, as the enhanced flavour and tenderness are second to none. And don’t forget the sides; with truffled French fries and grilled jumbo asparagus, you’ll barely have room for dessert!

Available on all ships except Adventure of the Seas. Chops Grille is a speciality dining venue, so it does cost a little extra.

Best for Japanese-inspired dishes: Izumi Hibachi

If you love sushi or enjoy the theatre of teppanyaki, the Izumi Hibachi is for you. Their wide range of creative, Japanese-inspired dishes includes crispy soy-ginger marinated chicken and lobster and avocado sushi in champagne sauce, not forgetting their chocolate lava cake to finish. 

In fact, there are so many intriguing dishes to choose from that you’ll want to try a little bit of everything!

Available on Oasis Class and Quantum Class ships. Izumi Hibachi is a speciality dining venue, so it does cost a little extra.

Best for family favourite menus: Jamie’s Italian

If your family misses the fabulous weekend lunches and early evening dining at Jamie’s Italian, you’re in luck! Eight of the Royal Caribbean ships still have a restaurant from this household name. 

Whether it’s the freshly made pasta or the signature meat or vegetable ‘planks’, you’ll be sure to find all of your favourites amongst their tasty dishes onboard.

Best for main dining: The Main Dining Room 

The Main Dining Room is found on all Royal Caribbean ships and is the largest food venue on most cruises. 

On formal nights, with dedicated waiting staff and traditional multi-course dinners, consisting of international dishes, you can be sure of an elegant and indulgent experience. It’s also great for kids, serving well-loved dishes for younger palates, such as pizza and chicken fingers.

The Main Dining Room is a complimentary venue, which is included in the cruise fare.

Best for casual bites: Windjammer Café

Windjammer Café, also known as Windjammer Marketplace on select ships, offers sensational snack foods from around the world. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, Windjammer’s self-service buffet is great for fast and casual dining, when you want to quickly fuel up and make the most of your day.

For the adventurous, start the day with scrambled egg Bhurji served with roti, or perhaps a refreshing watermelon and feta salad ticks the box that day. There are also familiar favourites, such as chicken marsala, fish and chips or freshly pressed paninis.

Available on all Royal Caribbean ships. Windjammer Café is a complimentary venue, which is included in the cruise fare.
