What Destinations Can I Visit With Ambassador Cruise Line?

Sailing on an Ambassador cruise ship can take you to many extraordinary worldwide destinations. Discover the Norwegian Fjords, Greenland, Iceland, the British Isles and the Arctic, travelling to remote corners where only a few ships are allowed access.  

In winter, you can sail further afield to destinations including the Canaries, Cuba, the Caribbean, and Cape Verde. Ambassador Cruise Line also offers extended iconic voyages with Round-the-World, Amazon & West Indies and Canada & Greenland itineraries.

Meet The Fleet

Ambience

Ambassador Cruises’ first ship is Ambience, which had its inaugural sailing from Tilbury in April 2022. It is a medium-sized ship, with 11 guest decks, 789 cabins and a capacity for 1,400 guests. Crew-to-guest ratio is 2.15

Ambition

Ambassador Cruises’ second ship, Ambition, is due to be launched in May 2023. It is somewhat smaller than Ambience, with ten guest desks, 714 cabins and a capacity for 1,200 guests. The crew-to-guest ratio onboard is 2.55.

Renaissance

Ambassador Cruise Line’s third ship, Renaissance, is the newest and largest in the fleet. It features 14 guest decks, 789 cabins and can accommodate up to 1,800 guests. With more dining venues, entertainment spaces and upgraded facilities, Renaissance offers a fresh, modern take on the Ambassador experience. The crew-to-guest ratio onboard is 2.42.

Dining With Ambassador Cruise Line

There’s a great variety of dining options when sailing on an Ambassador cruise ship. The two main dining options are Buckingham restaurant, offering a wide range of sophisticated menu choices, and Borough Market, which has a more international feel. 

There are two dinner sittings, and you can let them know your preference on these when booking. For breakfast and lunch, there is an open seating basis.

You'll also find a range of speciality restaurants on board, including Saffron, offering Indian-influenced dishes, Sea & Grass, with its prime dry-aged cuts and a VIP multi-course dining experience at Chef’s Table.

On Ambience, there are also 11 lounges and bars, each with its own unique style. Meanwhile, Ambition will have four bars and lounges where you can relax and enjoy a drink.

Entertainment & Leisure

The entertainment venues on board Ambassador cruise ships include the multi-tiered The Palladium and the Observatory. Here, the Show Team puts on a great range of music, dance and comedy each evening. You can also watch movies or sporting events from their large outdoor screen.

For a more interactive experience, there's an onboard casino and Aces & Eights bridge and card room. If you're seeking a spot of retail therapy, head to the shopping galleria or for a quiet corner to read, there's Bronte's Library. 

For those keen to keep fit while on their cruise holiday, there is an Active Studio gym and Wellness Spa. Or you can take a dip in the on-deck swimming pool and hot tubs. Ambassador's cruise ship, Ambition, will also have a joggers' and walkers' track.

What’s Included On An Ambassador cruise?

Ambassador Cruise Line aims to offer great value on their cruise holidays. When booking an Ambassador cruise deal, your fare will include your cabin accommodation, full board dining, including afternoon tea, all entertainment, activities and use of the leisure facilities. 

If you book six nights or more, whether it’s one of the Ambassador Ambience cruise deals or Ambition cruise deals, you can also enjoy a Captain’s Welcome and Farewell cocktail party and Gala Dinner. 

Things such as gratuities, drinks, travel insurance, port parking and excursions are not included in Ambassador cruise deals. However, you can purchase one of the onboard drinks packages, which also covers gratuities and service charges, at the time of booking.
