Dubai…My last hurrah of the year !!

I really have been a very lucky lady this year, my passport has had a few good old outings for.

I started off the year by going on the Celebrity Edge for a few nights with my colleagues, sailing around the coast and experiencing the five-star luxury that Celeb has to offer, on one of the most modern and stunning ships in their fleet.

I then went on a trip with Carnival cruises out to Ibizia, which consisted of boat partys, pool parties and visiting Pikes Hotel where the great Freddy Mercury and the likes of George Michael partied…So basically party party party , but it was nice to relive my youth for a few days !!

Then the lead up to my wedding, which started with me having a hen party in Benidorm, which was just fantastic and a real giggle with some very good friends, and ending in my amazing holiday in Mexico ,  which saw me return home with an amazing tan and a lovely husband to boot.

So what more could I ask for, coming to the end of 2019 than to see it off with a little cheeky honeymoon in Dubai with my hubster.

We jet off next Wednesday for 4 nights , leaving my three little squirrels at home for some R and R and some good fun.

We are flying with Emirates on their Airbus A380 and have decided to upgrade to their twin seats option. This is upstairs and is just the window and the aisle seat together, so it should be very nice and if I happen to stray into Business class up there, then I can always say I got lost !!

We are staying at the 5* Rixos Premium , which is in a great spot in the heart of Jumeirah and within walking distance to the Marina, Mall of Emirates and all the luxury restaurants and sights we want to go and see.

My husband has been to Dubai a few times with business so he knows a lot of good places to go to. He has been very organised and booked lots of stuff for when we’re out there so I am going to be mainly brunching, sunbathing and shopping…what more could I want.

Having never been to Dubai before, but sending lots of people there over the years, im really looking forward to seeing it all for myself. I love going to new places and am intrigued to see what Dubai is really like and if it is as ultra-modern and luxurious as it looks.

I love having a little break this year , it gets me all ready and raring to go for the festive season when i get back. I really have loved this year and have had some fantastic times making lifelong memories. Im sorry to say that next year will be quite a bit different and my little passport will probaly be in a drawer collecting dust for a while , but im not complaing its a year to remember and im going to enjoy my one last Hurrah !!!
