Cruising, Skating and Tobogganing into 2016

xmas

First day back at my post after the most amazing family Christmas. I have had just over two weeks off and have really indulged in chocolates, wine and late nights so to say that this morning was a slight challenge is a bit of an understatement.

The run up to Christmas was lovely and the highlight for us was going tobogganing at the local snowdome. We had half an hour of high speed sledging from the top of a huge, snow covered indoor hill top and giggled and screamed for the whole duration. I was in control of the Toboggan and my son sat in the front with me. I did struggle with the breaks at the end of the slope so crashed into things a couple of times but no broken bones to report. We also had a bash at the Ice Skating but must admit the Penguin was leading the way.

We had such a lovely Christmas in our New home and spent some really nice quality time together. The kids were really happy with their gifts and we had great fun building Lego, playing Monopoly and shooting aliens in the dark…..don’t ask!!

We did attempt a family walk on New year’s day to try and start off with a good healthy kick to the year but by the time we had packed the kids up and drove to the park the rain was relentless so we ended up having a car picnic of sausage rolls and crisps and retreated back to the house (the thought was there!!)

So back to it now and it looks like there are some really fantastic offers around at the moment for 2016 to book your dream cruise , ranging from buy one get one free , free drinks , free parking etc. Don’t miss out, give me a call and get the New Year off to a great start by sorting out the most important thing of the year…..your holiday.
