Sky Princess….

Last week Princess cruises announced the name of their newest Royal class ship the ‘Sky Princess’.  Sister ship to Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess, Sky Princess is scheduled to debut in October 2019 on a series of Mediterranean voyages.

This ship, similar to her sister ships will hold around 3660 passengers and will include the signature elements included on the other Royal class ships such as;

• Central piazza style atruim
• Princess Live! Entertainment venue
• Adults only sanctuary
• Movies under the stars theatre
• Camp discovery youth and teen centre
•  Salty Dog Grill, Alfredo’s Pizzeria, Vines Wine Bar, Chef’s Table Lumiere and World Fresh Marketplace
• 80% of all cabins will have balconies

The maiden voyage on the 20th October 2019 will be a 7 night Mediterranean and Adriatic cruise from Athens to Barcelona, after that she will sail from Barcelona to Rome, meaning two very good itineraries which can also be combined into a 14 day cruise, which i think sounds great! From the 10th November 2019 Sky Princess will sail from the Rome over to Fort Lauderdale on a 21 day Grand Adventure.

Guests on Elite status on the Captains club loyalty program will have the opportunity to book before others, on the 13th December 2017, then it will be available to everyone else to book from the 14th December 2017. I think this will sell out quick and will be very popular.

Princess have also advised that a 5th ship is also under construction and will be launching in 2020, so watch this space for more info on that one.
