Hello from Jamaica

So this weeks blog I am writing from Jamaica, I am here on holiday with my partner and daughter. We are staying here for 14 nights in the resort or Lucea and the hotel is the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort and I must say I am really impressed with the hotel. We have been to Jamaica before a few year back and stayed in the Iberostar Rose Hall in Montego Bay which we loved but this one is now my new favourite. It’s a big hotel with lots of facilities and a little water park to keep my daughter entertained during the day. But my favourite is the food, there is lots of choices for dinning including snack bars, two buffet restaurants and also six speciality dinning restaurants which you can go to when you without having to make reservations.

Last time we came to Jamaica there was just me and my partner so we did lots of excursions including Bob Marley house, the Blue Lagoon and my favourite Dunns River falls. However this time we have just simply relaxed and stayed in the hotel.

We were abit unsure as to what the weather would be like with all the hurricanes lately, Jamaica thankfully was not affected by them. It’s been really hot with a few thunder storms here and there.

Jamaica is a great place to see wether your doing a land based holiday like me or calling here on a cruise. Most cruises call at either Falmouth, Montego Bay or Ocho Rios and most of the leading cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, P&O, Carnival, Celebrity, Ncl etc will stop off here. Like I said earlier there are lots of excursions to enjoy or simply enjoy a day at one of the stunning beaches.

Next week I’ll be back at work helping my lovely customers find there perfect cruise but for now I’m going to enjoy my last few days in the sun!

Thanks for reading x
