Are you too late for a Black Friday deal?

So it is here, Black Friday and some wonderful deals, and some cons too.

I’ve been keeping an eye on a TV in Currys, Started high then Early October it went down, i got a little excited but a mate suggested i wait until Black Friday which was 7 weeks away, great idea. In that time I continued to keep an eye on the TV, every time Currys was the best price, then early November the price went right back up, but not as high as when I first started to look !!! I could see what was happening.

Last week the price went down, about £100 off compared to Early October and then a few days later another £20 came off and advertised as a ‘Early Black Friday’ deal, it was now £120 less than 7 weeks earlier but Currys big sale price was £250 off (compared to their price in July).

Have the cruiselines done the same? Well what I have seen is Royal Caribbean keeping their prices of the last month the same but adding on extra on board credit, still for most Southampton sailings the overall cost is still more than it was 3 or 4 months ago.

P&O Black Friday deals are ok, the highlight possibly the 12 night Oriana in Jan 2018 at £498pp but my favourite so far is Princess with their 7 night Southampton cruise down to £489pp on the 5th May. I rate a Princess cruise experience more highly than P&O.

If Black Friday has passed you by don’t worry, most of, and if not all of the deals will last through to Monday, subject to how sales of gone over the weekend of course.

If you see a deal and you are happy with it then book it, it just may not come back.

Thank you America for Black Friday, my TV and sound equipment is awesome, the roar of Anfield even better.
