Happy New Year welcome 2017

Well what a busy year that 2016, kicking off from April , right through to December, I had to count up my trips on our recent annual conference on Fred Olsen. I had some of my own holidays . and lucky to get lots of trips.

Ovation of the Seas

Caribbean Princess

Emerald Princess

Azamara

Carnival Vista

Celebrity Equinox

Silverseas Spirit

Independence of the Seas

Fred Olsen

Some short others longer, not bad for one year! To be honest I was exhausted, some of the trips were shorter than others, but it is still the planes trains and automobiles that can be very tiring, I know I will not get lots of sympathy …lol

In all seriousness it has given me such an insight into all the different cruise lines, some I have never been with, maybe on board for a lunch now and them, its not the same as sailing, I still love the first day on board, and the initial sail away, short or long trips,

Topping it off with my little jaunt to Cape Town, not a bad year at all. I have to admit my favourite this year has been The Equinox in July with hubby, just too short, I am now looking forward to this year , March already booked on Fred Olsen with Friends for a 5 night getaway, then a long 15 night re-positioning with Eclipse in October, hopefully somewhere in between I will be lucky enough to get some more trips

August is a week away with the grandchildren, somewhere on the coast , a stay-cation, maybe the weather will be kind to us, I hope so , I have been spoilt this year and managed to get lots  of sun . We will be heading to the East Coast , watch my blog I will tell you all about it on my return, and who knows , maybe 2018 we can take them on a cruise !!
