Spectum of the Seas! Royal Caribbean are on Grow Again!

Today has marked a date in History as Royal Caribbean International announced not only a new ship but a new class to join the Royal Caribbean Fleet. The new ship set to be called ‘Spectrum of the Seas’ which will be the first in the ‘Quantum Ultra Class’. Why she is set to be the Quantum Ultra Class as I am unable to see what the different to the Quantum, Anthem and Ovation of the Seas will be. she is only going to be a total of 168,000 gross tons which is similar to help sisters so I am not quite sure where the Ultra comes from – Any ideas?

However, the Quantum Class has been popular with the Chinese and Asian Market so Spectrum of the Seas will be designed for the Chinese market, I can help but think that China is becoming the new Miami, with both the Quantum of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas also being built for the Chinese Market, this comes along with the new Majestic Princess and the Norwegian Joy which both launched earlier this year. However, this is great news as many having over cruised the Caribbean and looking for something a little different and the Far East has it all to offer.

From the Sandy Beaches of Thailand and Malaysia, to the vibrant cities of Tokyo, Beijing and Hong Kong, so you really can experience a bit of Sun, Sea and Adventure with all the Culture you could ever want.

Cruising the Far East opens lots of doors, as you don’t only need to cruise but you can also combine it with a land tour, pick up a tour and do the sights of Beijing and the Great Wall before flying to Xian and seeing the World Wonder of the Terracotta Warriors before flying to Singapore and doing a 14-night cruise around Thailand and Vietnam! Sounds Blissful, doesn’t it?

Spectrum of the Seas will carry 4,180 passengers and will debut in 2019. However, at this stage this is all we have been told, but Spectrum will be the 3rd ship currently being built for Royal Caribbean International along with the Celebrity Edge and the Symphony of the Seas.

Who is Excited?
