Can I smoke?

Are cruises now becoming smoke free cruises? it’s almost like airlines now where smoking is banned completely. The latest lines to ban smoking on balconies are Carnival and NCL, so there are no lines now that I know about that allow you to smoke on the balcony. I can understand that policy as nearly all new ships are built in a way that all the balconies are so close to each other and when people smoke it does travel onto the next cabins and it’s not very nice even if you are a smoker. I don’t smoke myself and never have, but I do feel for people who smoke and it’s part of their holiday (the smoking). However as people got used to bit by bit, not to smoke in Buses, trains, offices, pubs and of course airplanes they will get used to not smoking in their cabins. It is also very unpleasant to get into a cabin that people smoked in the last cruise as you can still smell it on the furniture and in the air. The positive for the smokers is that it’s not completely banned on board as they all offer some designated areas that you can still smoke. I have highlighted below the latest smoking policies on various lines, what do you think?
