Cruise Line Wifi Costs


It's common knowledge that 21st Century cruisers have difficulty leaving their online connection to the world behind - albeit to keep in touch with work, friends and family - even at sea!  So if this applies to you, here is all the information you'll ever need to find out which cruiselines offer wireless (Wi-Fi) connections on board (and, more importantly, how much it costs)...

Azamara Club Cruises

Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest are both fully wireless, including staterooms. Internet access is available in eConnections.

Carnival Cruises

Every ship provides satellite Internet access facilitated through the Internet Café and through the ship-wide Wi-Fi network.
Longer Cruises (6 days and longer)
• 250 minutes for $100.00
• 100 minutes for $55.00
• Pay As You Go: $0.75/min

Shorter Cruises (5 days and shorter)  
• 60 minutes for $24.00
• 30 minutes for $16.50  
• Pay As You Go: $0.75/min
Celebrity Cruises

Wi-Fi available throughout Solstice class ships and Celebrity Century. All other ships have various Wi-Fi Hotspots throughout.
$0.75 a minute with no package
100 minutes for $70. Extra minutes are $.70 per minute
200 minutes for $120. Extra minutes are $.60 per minute
500 minutes for $250. Extra minutes are $.50 per minute
Costa Cruises

All public areas, pool decks and cabins available on all ships.
€.50 per minute. Bulk package plans are also available. Guests can bring their laptop or rent a PC for those staterooms that offer access.
Cruises & Maritime

Internet café – No Wi-Fi.

Crystal Cruises

Wi-Fi access is available on board throughout the ship, so feel free to bring your laptop. Once on board, contact the Computer University@Sea to sign up for Wi-Fi during your voyage. Internet access charges will apply.

Cunard

Internet Centre. Wi-Fi hotspots are also available in public rooms and areas throughout the ship.
Diamond Plan: 480 minutes - $168.
Platinum: 240mins - $89.95.
120 mins - $47.95.
Pay as you go - $0.75.
Printing per job - $0.50.
Fred. Olsen Cruises

Wi-Fi access is available on all vessels in and close to the Library.
‘Pay as you go’ or can be purchased in advance from Reception.
Holland America Line

24/7 wireless connection hotspots, Explorations Café or Internet Café located on board. Guests on all Vista Class ships may access the Internet directly from their stateroom.
There is a one-time activation fee of $3.95. The basic time charge is $.75 per minute, or you can purchase a discounted time plan of 100 minutes for $55.00 or 250 minutes for $100.00. Laptops may be rented for $20 per day.
MSC Cruises

Various Wi-Fi spots available around the ship.
Costs vary dependant in data downloaded.
Norwegian Cruise Line

Various Wi-Fi spots available around the ship.
250 mins for $100 ($0.40 per min) /100 minutes for $55 ($0.55 per minute). Pay as you go $0.75 per minute.
Oceania Cruises

Wireless internet service is available throughout all ships.
Flat rate of 95 cents per minute. To receive or send an e-mail via your specially dedicated Oceania address will cost $2 per message.
P&O Cruises

Available on various decks.
250 minutes - £62.50
100 minutes - £35
Pay-as-u-go 50p/per minute
Account activation charge of £2.50.
Printing available 30p per page.
Princess Cruises

Staterooms and various public areas including Piazzas.
Pay-as-you-go rate is 75 cents per minute. There are also three plans you can choose from:
100 minutes for $55 (55 cents per minute)
150 minutes for $75 (50 cents per minute)
250 minutes for $100 (40 cents per minute).
Wireless hotspots are available in public areas (though not in cabins) on all ships
Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Throughout the ship, including most suites.
There is a one-time activation fee of $3.95. The basic time charge is $.35 per minute, or you can purchase a discounted time plan of 100 minutes for $25.00, 250 minutes for $50.00.
Royal Caribbean Cruises

Six designated ’Hot Spots’ which vary from ship to ship.
The basic rate for Wifi, using your own laptop is USD 0.65 per minute or choose from one of the following pre-paid packages:
USD 35.00 for 60 minutes
USD 55.00 for 100 minutes
USD 75.00 for 150 minutes
USD 100.00 for 250 minutes
USD 150.00 for 500 minutes
Seabourn

All of Seabourn’s fleet are wired with Wi-Fi access in all suites and most public ares as well as in the Computer Centers.
Flat rate is available for both wireless and the computer center which is charged at 50 cents per minute. Packages are also available which start from 30 minutes for 45 cents per minute, 1 hour for 42 cents per minute, 8 hours for 35 cents per minute and 32 hours for 25 cents per minute.
Thomson Cruises

Wi-Fi is available is certain areas.
£4 for 15mins, £13 for 60mins or £16 for 100mins.
