I was on a cruise last year in Baltic cruise . Honestly cruise was amaizing. I really was scarde to go on a cruise because i thought that i will get sick and nothing special going to be on it. Obviously time i spend on a cruise was amazing now i just wait to get occasion to go again. I love it , that cruise show me that i dotn't have to be scared because of the sea. Level of the service was very high standard , i didnt expect that the leve of hygiene going to be that high. Im well impressed and the cruise was a good experience for me :) now i just wait to go for another :)

We have just returned from a twelve day cruise round the eastern med Istanbul to Athens on the Oceania Marina. The ship was new this year and was excellent, all the crew were very friendly and gave very good service, the food was also top class. The Grand Dining Room was very elegant serving a very good selection at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food served in the Terrace cafe was also excellent with a plenteous choice and waiters to assist with serving the food and taking to the dining tables if required, our only complaint was that hot food at dinner one evening was served on a cold plate. We were only able to visit one of the four speciality retaurants the 'Italian Toscana' again the food was very good. The evening entertainment was not as good as we have had on other cruise ships the site lines in the Marina Lounge was not good from the mid to rear seats. We were very well looked after by our cabin stewards and the all day room service was excellent. We also liked the fact that there was no ships photographer, we are quite happy with the photo's taken with our own camera. This was our 20th cruise and we rate as one of the best with exellent value for money.

We have just returned from a week cruising with Thomson Dream in the Med. The cruise gets our vote of 99/100. The staff are wonderful from the house keeping to the the entertainment. Everyone welcomed us ansd kept us happy. The cabins were spacious and spotless. The entertainment team gave us fantastic shows every night, and various other entertainment too. The abundance and variety of food was exceptional, however one small gripe, one long line of food service meant long lines to get our food and it could be cold before we got to eat it. In the 'posh' restaurant the time it took to order and eat meal was approx 2 and a half hours, which took up most of the evening. Some hol makers did not object to this as we did. All in all a very enjoyable cruise, with a comapy 'Thomson' we can always trust to give us a good hol.

We have just returned from Baltic cruise on Cunard's Queen Victoria - we have been on Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria before to Caribbean, Norwegian Fjiords and Mediterranean. We really cannot fault the standand service on these ships. To us the standard of service, the cleanliness and the food are all 5 star. Our cabin was immaculate and attended to several times a day. No 'gimic' ships, timeless elegance. Any request is dealt with speedily. Port destinations well informed and plenty of shuttle coaches if not booked on trips. Plenty to do on sea-days, plenty of sun-loungers and public rooms are stunning.

We have just returned from the Island Escape cruise - Atlantic Sunrise sailed 22/4 from Tenerife and were disappointed in the quality of the cabins - ours had black mould in the shower tray and cabin no 4850 seemed to be above the engines - and we did not get a good nights sleep at all due to reverberation !! The overall shabbiness was eveident in the hall ways too. The music in bars was at an unacceptable high level. The quality of food was good. The entry to the first show of the evening was impossible due to crowds so alot of the entertainment was missed. We would not return to this ship - the staff were all very helpful.

The cruises I enjoyed most were on P&O and RCI. I was on them on April 2009 and May 2009. Oceana round the Med and Inde of the Sea to the Canaries. The weather was great on both. The staff were friendlier on P&O but the swimming pools are fab and warm on RCI. My granson loved the hugh size of the Independance of the Seas, the wonderful shows and all the childrens activities but also enjoyed the kids club, games and food on P&O. If i had to choose one overall it would be hard as each one shone on different things. each cruise we have been on has been different in their own ways. In 2008 we went on Sea Princess to the Carribean and were very happy with the ship, staff and wonderful port of calls. We have been lucky to also have tried Thomson and the small ships are very cosy. With good food and entertainment, the staff very helpful, but some of the ships look a bit tired now we have seen the larger ships. Having said that we are to return to Thomson next year as they had the best port calls that we were looking for and the price has to be considered now a few are becomming more expencive. If the price is less than £80 a night i think you have done well. Always watch out for the drinks deals if poss as these can save you quite a bit by the end of the cruise.
