Port Maps & Information

Aalesund, Norway

Charming Ålesund is among Norway's most picturesque and atmospheric fishing ports.

Seemingly afloat on its three islands, and, as a result of rebuilding after a 1904 fire, Ålesund is rich in a delightful art nouveau architecture of towers, turrets and medieval-romantic facades, often with intriguing echoes of ancient Nordic mythology.
