Thomson Cruises Launches Electric Sunsets, The Ultimate Cruise Weekender.

Thomson Cruises has recently revealed its newest and most epic itinerary onboard TUI Discovery, “Electric Sunsets”. The three night adults only music fuelled cruise will depart from Newcastle on 1st September 2018 and will sail party goers across the North Sea and back to the 80s with DJ sets and guest appearances that are sure to spread disco fever.

The electric line-up will see radio DJ and 80s lover Sara Cox rock the seas with her headline ‘Just Can’t Get Enough 80s’ set and special guest appearances from Carol Decker of T’Pau on Sunday, with Trevor Nelson headlining on Monday.

Ministry of Sound will make splash with its ultimate sunset sessions pool parties with Adamski on Sunday and DJ Brandon Block’s high frequency 80s house favourites on Monday. The jam-packed itinerary will also see two exclusive events on both Sunday and Monday – the Guilty Pleasures Party – where music lovers can truly unwind, let their hand down and dance into the night. Additional entertainment across the weekend will continue the journey through the 80s with classic movies, 80s karaoke and a silent disco.

The cruise weekender will see TUI Discovery sail from Newcastle on 1st September 2018, calling at the Netherlands capital, Amsterdam, and the seaside resort of Zeebrugge (for Bruges) before heading to Southampton.

DJ’ing anywhere is amazing and onboard a huge ship will be epic. The energy will be electric and the destinations are party scenes in themselves so it promises to be a fantastic few days.”
