Are cruise lines becoming sexist

Last week Aqua Expedition launched a new sensation but only for us ladies I’m afraid. They have come up with the idea of offering cruises just for ladies.

They state……..

‘With these cruises, women will have the chance to learn about new cultures and traditions whilst meeting new people who share the same excitement for adventure, whilst being able to enjoy a little bit of luxury at the same time.’

Now forgive me for being a little lost with this fantastic opportunity but is this not what all cruise lines offer? I am struggling to see this niche market idea really taking off.

I have never once had a lady passenger ask me if there is a cruise ship that just caters for ladies only, and I would love to know if this also means that all the staff including the Captain will also be ladies.

Will they be accepting bookings from transgender ladies???

I think they are opening a huge can of worms here and are not doing themselves any favours, and I’m a lady, well in a very lose term of the word ha ha.

I have to say I’m not a fan of this new cruise culture, what will they be suggesting next female only hotels, female only flights. I can understand that if ladies have had a bad experience with the opposite sex and possibly as a single traveler be put off and not have the confidence to travel but this I believe would be a very few percentage.

I have an abundance of lady passengers, many of them single. Many of them have lost their husbands and have no desire to re-marry or get into new relations at their time in life. However they thoroughly enjoy and look forward to their cruises and thrive on meeting new passengers on board MALE and female. A lot of my ladies love to dance and the fact there may be male dance hosts on board and other single men travelers to dance away with on the night time really makes their cruise experience.

What do you think????
