Celebrity cruises introduce Jet Set Sail from Stansted

Celebrity Cruises have just announced a new air service that they will be running called Jet Set Sail. The new service will be based from London Stansted and will launch with Celebrity on the 7th July 2015.

This new premium charter service will be running exclusively for passengers sailing on the Celebrity Equinox in 2016.

The service will include the following :-

– Parking at Stansted private jet terminal

– Luxury departure lounge with light refreshments

– Up to 25kg per person hold allowance (23kg for Athens flights)

– Complimentary meals and drinks on the flights

– Priority embarkation and late disembarkation from the ship

I think that this sounds interesting and will appeal to some passengers. I do think that alot will depend on how much Celebrity cruises charge for this service.

I also think that there are already lots of London flight options already available and I would have much rather seen a service like this introduced in the North East or Scotland where I think it would be needed a lot more.
