A Massive thanks to Fred Olsen after our conference on Balmoral

Christmas-Conference-2015

Last week we had our 2015 Cruise.co annual conference. This was held on a 3 night cruise on the Fred Olsen Balmoral which included an overnight stop in Bruges.

The conference was great in so many aspects, catching up with other members of staff, lots of interesting and entertaining presentations from cruise lines and company management including a very inspirational guest speaker and the experience of the cruise itself.

I have sailed on the Balmoral before and previously had a pleasant experience but I found the experience had got even better since I had last sailed on the Balmoral 6 years ago. A couple of things stood out to me in particular from my experience with Fred Olsen this time.

First of all the quality of food on the ship was outstanding, not only was the food to a very high standard in the main dinner restaurants it also massively exceeded my expectations in the Palms cafe buffet area. With this ship being smaller the buffet isn’t as massive as on most cruise ships I have sailed on but the quality of the food that was on offer there was faultless, it could have been plated and served in the main restaurant and I would have been happy.

Secondly was the quality of service and friendliness of the crew, in my mind this is what sets Fred Olsen apart, the crew really do treat you as part of the Fred Olsen family and it creates such a great atmosphere on board. I would like to thank all of the crew for making my time so enjoyable and would also like to make a special mention of a crew member named Miley Pulchaisong who’s picture is below as she worked so hard but was also so happy, fun and friendly, she really did help make the cruise a really great one.

This will be my last blog of 2015 so I would like to take this moment to thank all of my clients who have booked with me this year, especially the ones who come back to me time after time, it really is appreciated.  Happy Christmas and New Year to all of you !

Here are a few pictures I took of Bruges at night, I think it is such a beautiful place and I never get tired of going there even though I have been so many times.
