We are the Champions!

So, 2018 has arrived!  And on a work level it is super busy with all the fantastic offers we currently have.  From our Bucket List brochure, with some AMAZING new itineraries in there, to our Top 100 brochure, which includes the our most popular itineraries and tailor made packages.  The you have your family holidays with the likes of Royal Caribbean or MSC cruises, who are currently offering all-inclusive drinks packages (selected cruises).  There really so much to choose from.  What have you got planned this year?  Have you got your cruise booked up?  This year, I am jam packed, I am off to Benidorm in February, undecided for May as yet, and then I am away to Majorca in October, then (take a breath) I have my mini cruise in December to do my Christmas Shopping (i know, I know, too soon).

On a different note, you’re probably wondering why my headline says “we are the champions”?  Well I will tell you.  As most of you know I play for a ladies rugby team.  We started in January 2016 (just had our 2nd birthday), and we have been in division 3 for the last 2 seasons.  Well this season, we dominated the league, winning all 6 of our games (even managed to sneak in 2 tries of my own) and we were undefeated!

Now, I hear you say but the season ends in May.  And you are right, but the Welsh Rugby Union have decided to things a bit different this year.  Picture this, they have only gone and promoted us to division 2A for the second half of the season!!  We were so overwhelmed when we found out, we all started dancing and jumping around like lunatics.  We were under the impression that all divisions would stay the same and it would be the top 4 teams competing against each other for the title (a bit like the Aviva Premiership and Pro14), so imagine our excitement to discover we had been promoted!  We are CHAMPIONS of Division 3 Phase 1!  To find out we are champions is an amazing feeling.  We are now against harder and more competitive teams for the second half of the season, and the other teams have been around for a lot longer than us, we are nervous, but as long as we go out and show them what we can do, we can hold our heads up high.  And you never know, I might be writing in march/April that we are Division 2A champions, but I will leave that for another time.
