2nd Ship based in UAE for MSC

MSC have announced that after 7 years in the United Arab Emirates they will be adding a second ship with the introduction of MSC Lirica. MSC have seen a massive demand for the region and have invested big time. So from Winter 2018/2018 along with the ever popular 7 night cruises, guests can experience an extended winter holiday with a choice of 11 and 14 night itineraries and a 2 night Dubai Stay.

This means along with the main ports of call such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman and Bahrain a few other, more exotic will be added. Some cruises will head as far as Goa and Mumbai in India.

Sir Bani Yas is a unique beach oasis which on MSC days while ships visit it will be exclusive to them. It offers pristine white beaches with plenty of water sports and access to the regions largest nature reserve.

DOHA – with The Pearl-Qatar a stunning man made island that spans a million square metres and is home to beaches, shopping and plenty of bars and restaurants.

Kashab, Oman is a very striking port of call, known as the Fjords of Arabia. I was lucky enough to visit a few years ago and can now see why this is said. We took a small Dhow out to see the stunning views and dolphins also swam along with us.

They will also be offering a vast array of shore excursions from the shopping malls of Dubai, afternoon teas in the luxury hotels on Jumeirah’s Palm Island to Desert Safari and wild animal encounters.

All this will start with The Grand Adventure departing from Venice on 2nd November 2018 arriving into Dubai on the 18th. Lirica will then return back to the Mediterranean on the 15 March 2019.

This amazing fly cruise program is always a sell out and with Scheduled flights such as Emirates and Etihad fying from regional airports this 7 hour flight is so very worth it.
