With Regent Seven Seas Explorer’s maiden voyage fast approaching on July 20th, you’re all probably dying for a sneak preview inside the most luxurious ship ever built. (And the most expensive cruise ship per inch ever built!)

Well, here at www.CRUISE.co.uk we’ve got the low down on what to expect from the cruise line that’s redefining the luxury… Read on to see what she looks like!

The ship will feature the Regent Suite which is the largest ever suite at sea, with a ginormous 3,875 square feet of space that stretches across the width of the ship! It has its own spa, private garden, wrap around balcony and 2 ½ bathrooms!

The standard suites even have their own sitting area, balcony, walk in wardrobe, luxurious bathroom finished with marble and stone and free L’occtaine products.

Canyon Ranch Spa club will also be making an appearance on board and will offer a range of body and beauty treatments for guests. It spans over two levels and has its own infinity pool! The décor is simple, clean and sophisticated to give it a calm and tranquil vibe.

There will be two brand new speciality restaurants setting sail on the new Explorer in the form of Pacific Rim, a pan Asian restaurant where the subtle features reflect various Asian cultures, including windows shaped like lotus flowers, there’s ocean views too!

A new French restaurant called Chartreuse will also be added, which promises classy French ambience and elegant décor. So it’s perfect for date nights on your cruise.

Numerous stylish lounges have been added on board including: The Observation Lounge, which boasts floor to ceiling windows for incredible ocean views. The lounge also features a classic artdeco theme with dark wooden furniture and cosy leather chairs, making it look like it’s fresh out the 20’s!

An exciting new feature is the Culinary Arts Kitchen, where guests can learn to cook in style. The kitchen is modelled after top cooking schools meaning that everything is top of the range, including the utensils you cook with! There will be hands on classes available from the ships top chef, for all skill levels and a variety of cuisines being taught, including Greek and Italian!

She is also technically the most expensive ship ever built, as more money has been spent on her per berth than any other ship!

The ship was christened on Wednesday 13th July by Princess Charlene of Monaco in Monte Carlo!
