New Cruise Bar Will Be Like ‘Visiting Your Pharmacy’

A preview of Carnival Cruise Line’s new pharmacy inspired Alchemy Bar was held on-board the 88,500 gross ton ship; Carnival Legend yesterday in Sydney.

The bar is due to be introduced throughout the whole of the Carnival fleet and will be just one of the many additions to the Carnival Spirt which is currently undergoing a massive $44million makeover at the Sembawang shipyard in Singapore this August.

Speaking directly to one of the bartenders it was explained to us that the bar will work similarly to your local pharmacy.

She said “If ever you’re ill you would go up to your pharmacy and they would create something unique for you, that’s what we do here”.

Guests write down their favourite cocktails on a prescription note and keep it handy if they want the same drink again, they can also make their own cocktails that include ingredients of their choice.

Obviously if ever guests are ever struggling the bar staff are happy to steer them in the right direction and create something delicious for them.

Other new additions to the Carnival Spirt will include a Guy’s Burger Joint, a Caribbean- inspired Redfrog Rum bar and a Bluelguna Cantina serving freshly made Mexican cuisine in the mid ship pool area that neighbours a Bluelguna Tequila bar.
