If You Won The Lottery What’s The First Thing You’d book?

If You Won The Lottery What’s The First Thing You’d book?

We published an article recently (which you can read in full here) in which we were musing about where we’d visit if we’d won the lottery. In the end we decided a World Cruise would be the best way to visit as much of our planet as possible but of course, seeing the world is just one thing we could do with the money…

What if instead, we wanted the most luxury money could buy? The best service, the best food, the best suite… Being treated like royalty or better is what we’re aiming for here…

Here’s the Ultimate Luxury Cruise we’d book…

An Ultimate Luxury Cruise

Ultimate. Luxury.

Those two words alone should have cruise fans’ ears perked and heart rates rising. You’ll already have heard of Regent Seven Seas, the 6 star Ultra-Luxury cruise line. If you’ve never set foot aboard a Regent vessel, well we understand why but with an extra £1,000,000 or so in your pocket it might just be time…

Starting in Singapore the cruise we chose moves through Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Cyprus, Greece, Malta and disembarks in Barcelona – perfect for the cruiser looking for a bit of adventure and excitement!

Erica-Todd-181x181[1]Our specialist cruise consultant Erica loves the idea of ultimate luxury, as you can see:

“Regent recently announced the most expensive suite at sea, priced at $5000 per person per night! All I can say is wow, this must be the most amazing suite ever. The Regent Suite will include a grand piano, two bedrooms, views from three sides of the ship, and a personal spa retreat with a private sauna, steam room and treatment area- this really will be the ultimate luxury cruise experience!”

Stacey, one of our specialist cruise consultantsStacey-Williams-181x181[1], adores the Regent experience;

“I couldn’t fault my first Regent experience at all.  I had a great time from start to finish.  They make it really hard to spend any money on board as pretty much everything is included as part of the package.  The bar menu was extensive with a massive selection of spirits, wines and even champagne!  The food was beautiful in all of the restaurants and we really enjoyed the room service breakfast.  The staff were very attentive and eager to please, nothing was too much hassle.  My favourite thing about the cruise was the size of the suite, these are some of the biggest at sea and you can definitely tell as soon as you walk in.  Overall, I would give Regent 10/10, 100%, top marks!”

It’s easy for us to picture ourselves in this cabin; spend the morning slowly rising to the light of the sun on the horizon, wash off in the marble bathroom, ask the butler for a bit of breakfast delivered to the room, maybe even eat it while sat in the King-size bed while catching up with the news on the large flat-screen TV.

We can even spend a few moment on the complimentary iPad catching up with friends and family back home before setting off on another day of luxurious living.

Anthony-Burke-181x181[1]Our specialist cruise consultant Anthony loves the familiar and intimate atmosphere;

“The Six-Star service was amazing. It was discreet but attentive and in no way intrusive. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help with every need you have. What was great is that gratuities are included and are not expected by staff. What was also amazing was how friendly customers were on board. Everyone spoke to each other and we made some great friends whilst on board. I suppose that’s the smaller ship effect.

“Excursions are included in the cruise price as are all premium and international drinks so theres absolutely no worries about running up a big bill!! I also loved the fact there was no constant signing for drinks and items from the bar.

“Overall I really enjoyed experiencing the Luxury side of the cruise market. It really did highlight to me the difference in service, quality and value for money. I did compare a luxury cruise cost to a mainstream one and I can confidently say its definitely worth paying the difference to have the ultra All-Inclusive experience. An amazing experience which is truly unforgettable.”

All forty nights aboard this classy cruise are guaranteed to be as memorable as they are special (unless you’ve been taking advantage of those drinks – in which case it might just be special). Your suite, with all of the extras and advantages mentioned above, will cost £27,919 – leaving plenty of money left over from our lottery win – perhaps to spend on gifts for the family?

Casino - Deck 7 Midship Seven Seas Mariner - Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Souvenirs, meals, luxury – you could even spend some of that money getting younger (or at least feeling younger) in the Regent Seven Seas Explorer Spa! A nice beauty treatment and massage gets your day started the right way every time.

Spa Villa - Deck 10 Aft Seabourn Odyssey - Seabourn Cruise Line

We think the Ultimate Luxury experience has to be one of the best cruises money can buy, especially if you’re the type who would rather putting their feet up instead of rock climbing!

With incredible facilities and everything you could possibly want to make you more relaxed, Regent Seven Seas is an experience that fans of lounging simply can’t miss out on.

So what would you book if you won the lottery?
