Culinary tours announced by Oceania

Oceania Cruises has announced an expansion to its Culinary Discovery Tours during the upcoming Caribbean season aboard RivieraShrimp.

Passengers travelling on the liner will be able to enjoy a series of new experiences in St Lucia and Antigua, the company said.

A knowledgeable chef from the liner’s Bon Appétit Culinary Center will be on hand to show tourists around food markets, vineyards, farms and restaurants, with a highlight sure to be a drive through Rodney Bay Village on St Lucia.

“Our goal is for guests to leave the tour with new culinary skills, satisfied taste buds and a deeper appreciation for the vibrant culinary traditions found in the Caribbean,” said Kathryn Kelly, director of culinary enrichment for Oceania Cruises.

Passengers booking trips on Oceania’s Holidays In The Tropics departing from Miami on December 23rd will be able to enjoy the new experiences, which will also be offered as part of two ‘Island Paradise’ voyages at the start of next year.

Earlier in the summer, Oceania Cruises announced that it had taken its one-millionth reservation. The company currently operates a fleet of five cruise ships.
