10 Storey High Slide Revealed On Harmony Of The Seas

We’ve got exciting news for you today!

Royal Caribbean have just released more information about their newest Oasis Class cruise ship set to launch in April ’16.

The ship, Harmony of the Seas, will have an amazing ten storey high slide, right at the back of the ship.

Already set to be the biggest cruise ship in the world, Harmony’s latest feature to be announced will be located on deck sixteen, between her two flowriders, before dropping you ten decks down!

To be known as the Ultimate Abyss, it will comprise of two slides… but here’s the really scary bit! To even get to it in the first place you’ll have to cross a glass platform overlooking the AquaTheater

You’ll then be given a mat which will shoot you down the ten decks right out into the boardwalk.

The Abyss has been deliberately designed to be both the biggest and most daring slide at sea… don’t believe us?

Take a look at this video Royal Caribbean released showcasing the slide!

Harmony of the Seas is still currently under construction in the STX shipyard, Saint-Nazaire, France. Once finished she’ll be 227,000 gross tons, just slightly larger than her sister ship Allure of the Seas, current title holder for the Worlds largest cruise ship.

Once finished she’ll be able to carry 5,479 guests when at full double occupancy and will be ready to sail in April 2016.
