Taster Cruises….Er No

Greetings cruisers

WOW what a lovely 2 weeks it has been weather wise, Oh well I guess that’s our summer over, we all need to start looking at booking a cruise now.

As you might all be aware of many of the cruise brands in the UK add a few mini cruises throughout their summer programs to give first time cruises the chance to experience what it would be like to cruise with one of their products, it might only be 2 or 3 nights but it gives the nervous travellers a chance to experience a cruise without having to be away for too long. They cruise will include a formal night and a main show and they will try to squeeze in as much of the program as possible in the short time you have.

WARNING WARNING WARNING

First time cruisers, don’t even think about it, if you really want to be put off a cruise for life then go ahead and try, otherwise leave these well alone, you couldn’t do anything worse. Unfortunately if you do decide to try a mini cruise, be prepared to join a number of hen or stag do’s, plenty of heavy drinking groups all up for a crazy weekend away. I am not joking either, these mini cruises are something you should stay well away from, if you really want to try a cruise, go for a 7 night cruise and that way you will really experience what a cruise ship has to offer, these are way too long for stag or hen do’s.

So please be aware, leave the mini cruises well alone and get yourselves booked on a 7 night cruise and I promise you will be hooked from day 1.

Try a cruise up to Norway, breathtaking views, amazing scenery, just what the doctor ordered.

So until the next time

Keep on cruising 🙂
