Not enough, be Independence

Greetings fellow cruisers

Hope you are all well and making the most of the UK summer ! I know, when did it actually start, anyways lets talk about some major additions that Royal Caribbean are adding to their Independence Of The Seas, one of the UK’s favourite cruise ships. I say this because it just seems to be loved by us Brits, she was with us a couple of years ago and then did not return, which upset so many, so with that in mind Royal Caribbean decided to send her back to us and that made people very very happy. And now those could be even happier with the introduction of some additional concepts.

Take a look below

TRAMPOLINE PARK

Jump up, jump up and get down. You’ll reach new heights on this first-at-sea — our massive top deck Trampoline Park.

WATER SLIDES

Get ready to scream your way down our tummy-tingling waterslides. With names like Typhoon, Cyclone and Supercell, you know you’re in for an exhilarating ride.

ESCAPE ROOM

Sometimes your brain needs a workout too. So work on your brain training before setting sail and prepare to think your way out of the room in this thrilling game.

LASER TAG

Ignite an age-old sibling rivalry. Decide who gets the next round. No matter who wins, both teams are guaranteed an unforgettable experience.

So if you are deciding what ship to cruise next summer with the children, the Independence could just tick all those boxes, obviously these are just the new additions to the ship, there are many more activities on board to keep the kids occupied.

I am not sure these types of ships are for me, I am getting older now and would prefer a smaller less crowded experience, maybe something like Silver Sea or Oceania, but each to their own, can’t knock them for offering the best family orientated cruise experience in the business.

So until next time

Keep on cruising:)
