Royal Caribbean banning technology?

Royal Caribbean are always at the forefront of technology whether its ordering dinner off tablets or developing robots who mix your cocktails for you. Here is a statement they will WOW you!

On Symphony of the Seas the newest ship to Join RCCL’s fleet very soon Royal Caribbean are looking to ban the use of phones and tablets in the dining areas and bars!!!

If you think about today’s culture, you walk into a restaurant and quite often you look at a table of people, with no conversation and all on their phones looking at ‘Snapchat’ or ‘Facebook’.  Royal Caribbean are trying to re introduce actually talking to each other at dinner….I know a novelty idea you say.

So from now on you will have to take a cheeky picture of your fantastic food without the waiters seeing you as you well might get told off. I don’t think it is going to be too bad, after all Facebook and Instagram is free advertising for the brand and they wouldn’t want to stop anything free! Or was this Royal Caribbeans April fools joke?
