Luggage labels…How important are they?

Over the last few months I have taken many a call regarding luggage labels.

Now due to cost cutting measures many cruiselines are issuing paper luggage labels which can be obtained through your cruise personalizer on the relivant cruiselines websites.

On these labels will be your particular cabin number, so the porters know where exactly your cabin is and deliver your luggage.  If you cannot print these off then luggage labels will be obtainable at the port on your arrival.

If you have booked a Royal Caribbean cruise, when you add in your details in their online check in there is a section where you add in your home address details and luggage labels will be posted to you.  This service is available about 4 weeks prior to your sailing.  Again, if you cannot do this then labels will be available at the port.

So do not stress.  Luggage labels will be available at the port so your luggage will get delivered to your stateroom.  The cruiseline will always have this service as they need to know where to deliver bags and cases.
