Calling all Sailors !

I have just had the privilege of visiting the Star Clipper in the port of Valetta in Malta.

Now the Star Clipper is a more ‘hands on’ cruise.  By this I meen that if you want to you can help hoist the sail, get a great view from the crows nest or help with the roping on board.

For the more adventurous you can go to the forward of the ship and laze around on the roped netting and watch the dolphins as the swim along with you.

The cabins are small but spacoius.  They have all the normal cruise comforts.

This is a typical catagory two cabin.  My camera doesn’t show the space very well.  However the cabin is really only for sleeping in and storing your luggage!!

The dining room has themed dinners each night.  So there is the option of eating Italian, French or Indian if you would like to.

Star Clipper is a very acitve ship so it is not good for disabled or people with mobility problems.  Click on the high lighted link to see her with her sails in all her glory.
