The New Royal Yacht?

One of my most memorable ship visits was to the sunny(?) port of Greenock in Scotland, to see the Hebridean Princess.
Stepping on board, the first thing that came to my mind was the feeling of a luxury country house.  Soft carpets, rich mahogany interiors and intricate paintings on the wall all add to that big house ambience. The ship itself is very elegant and well maintained in pristine condition.  Many of the original artefacts’ on board can still be found such as ship clocks, compasses and maps.
The hub of the ship has to be the cosy Tiree lounge. It was full of natural light flooding into the area from the many windows. The fireplace seemed to be the focal point of the room, with plenty of seating around. To top it all there is a small but well stocked bar for the more thirsty cruisers amongst us.  Guests can mingle here for champagne and canapés before dinner each evening.
Main meals are served in the Columba restaurant. Very fine dining. Service and food was exceptional & it’s all inclusive!
There are 30 cabins on board, each one unique. From staterooms to suites, there is something to suit everyone. They are beautifully decorated and very comfortably appointed to help you relax & feel at home. Single travellers are not forgotten, 10 cabins are designed with them in mind.
It is worth noting that this ship has been awarded the Royal warrant. If it is good enough for the Queen……..!
If your fancy is sailing round the west coast of Scotland visiting fantastic unspoilt beaches or walking off the beaten track in the glorious countryside, great service and something completely different, then give me a call. I’ll be happy to share this experience or help you with any other cruise holiday enquiry you may have.
