Give Baby J Fresh Food!

Have you taken a baby under 1 year on a cruise before? If you did how did you feed them?  This may sound a silly question to ask but my lovely client Mrs C has been trying to get Celebrity to confirm if fresh baby food will be provided for her baby.

Mrs C  decided to contact Celebrity to ask about the food as baby J is weaning now and on the website it states baby food is available in the main dining room with advanced notice. Upon contacting Celebrity Mrs C received a email – ” Kindly keep in mind guests are more than welcome to bring their own baby food onboard as long as it is non-perishable and sealed in the original store bought container.  In addition, baby food can be purchased prior to the cruise online.” So what do you do but check online as instructed.   The baby food on offer is not fresh but the ones you get in jars or packs.  Mrs C would prefer to bring a steamer or puree machine on board but can’t for obvious health and safety reasons.

Mrs C wants to give baby J as fresh food as she possibly can and not have to rely on the jars of baby food, which you can understand. You would have thought that Celebrity would provide more of a service for babies in general, I guess pureed food is the way to go! I would be interested to hear your thoughts, and in the words of Mrs C – “give baby J fresh food!”

Till next time x
