Does A Floating Boutique Hotel Appeal To You?

The new ships which are being launched at the moment are all huge, with the best technology, the best entertainment, best cabins, best food etc etc. What if you do not want these huge ships, is there anything new for the lover of a smaller ship?

Yes, there is!  Emerald Waterways have announced they are launching their very own chartered yacht, to sail along the Dalmatian coastline! This yacht is brand new for 2019, is 5 star, takes only 36 guests, it is in fact a floating boutique hotel!  Plenty of public areas which will include a restaurant, bar and al fresco lounge along with a lovely sun deck.  Being so small the yacht will be able to dock into a lot of the small ports amongst the coast.

I really do think this is a exciting move for Emerald. The coastline is in Croatia which I am sure you may have been to before with Dubrovnik being one of the many famous places, but there is an awful lot more you can see. For example the little island of Hvar, the cities of Split and Dubrovnik, island of Korcula, Trogir and Slano to name a few.  You can also have the opportunity to visit the Krka national park which is really beautiful.

The price includes all your meals, flights from London or Manchester and 7 shore excursions which is pretty good for a weeks cruise. I know the thought of sharing with only a handful of other people may be daunting, but you could be really lucky and end up with a great bunch of people!

I guess the main stumbling point for a few people would be the lack of evening and on board entertainment and the lack of people on board but there are an awful lot of you I know, would be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of something different like this.

All you have to do is give it a try!

Till next time x
