Beautiful Italy

As you read this I will be in Lake Garda in Italy, one of the most picturesque regions.  Tomorrow (Saturday) we are travelling from the lake to Venice where we have a couple of nights there. I’m not actually on holiday though I am working – honest!

As you may be aware, we do offer a lot of fantastic cruise and stay options and this is one of them.  Our clients sailed from Southampton on the 11th October on the beautiful MSC ship, the Preziosa, making their way to Genoa before 3 nights stay in Lake Garda before finally having 2 nights stay in Venice. I am with a few of my colleagues to make sure they are ok and generally look after them when they are in Italy – great service of course from Cruise.Co.Uk!

You will probably know by now that i am not really a lover of the big ships, however I have sailed on the Preziosa twice before and i really do love her. The ship is beautiful, I am sure all our clients will enjoy her as much as I have in the past.  Lake Garda is somewhere I have been before but many moons ago, and Venice although stayed there many a time, you always see something you haven’t already – a great city.

I must admit I do love this kind of holiday as you get the best of both worlds. A great cruise on a fab ship then time on land to enjoy and see a lot more then you would on the ship. This particular trip is on sale for next October on the MSC Magnifica. Sailing from Southampton again and going to Le Havre, Leixoes, Lisbon, Cadiz, Barcelona and Marseille before being met in Genoa to continue to Garda and Venice.

There is also the Sapphire Princess sailing in April next year but this one is slightly different.  Fly to Verona have 3 nights in Lake Garda then travel down to Rome for a 2 night stay and then embark on the ship. This itinerary will take you to Livorno for Florence and Pisa, Monte Carlo,  Barcelona, Gibraltar, Lisbon, Normandy, to arrive back into Southampton on the 5th May.  You never know you may get me on this trip too!
