You Could Be Losing Out !!

As most of my clients know I do a lot of what we call “Bon Voyage Calls” before they travel. It is a curtesy call just to make sure they have everything they need such as travel documents, tickets, luggage labels, Insurance etc. One other point I do always suggest to my clients is if they are ever thinking off doing a future cruise to try and book on board.

If you’re like me, you fly past your cruise ship’s on-board sales office, thinking why waste my time planning for my next cruise when I only have about a week on-board to spend time at the pool and relax.

The thing is, if you’re going to go on another cruise someday,  you really want to check in at the sales desk to see the kinds of deals featured. That’s because your cruise line is likely to be offering on-board credit, reduced deposits or an attractive discount when you book a future cruise on-board your current sailing. All the cruise lines let you transfer your booking to your travel agent, so you can reap any perks they offer, too.

Many also let you change your cruise dates or ship or even cancel by a certain date with no penalty or fees. In most cases, you have nothing to lose if your travel plans change and everything to gain if you’re going to take another cruise with that line.

This is a win win situation, so when you are next on board your cruise don’t forget to check out the sales office on board !
