I Am Back !

Yes I am now back in the office after having a week off work. Don’t worry I haven’t been anywhere exotic ( I wish ) and didn’t really get up to much, believe it or not I’ve been at home looking after my poorly big fella (which is my dog).

Anyone who knows me well, knows I adore my baby and I will do anything for him.

My big fella is called Looney, he is a full breed boxer and I have had him since he was a puppy at 26 weeks old, can’t believe he will be 16 years old in October, I just don’t know where the years have gone.

A few weeks ago I had to call the vets out and was advised off some very bad news, my poorly baby was diagnosed with an external tumour.

After a lot of thinking and discussions with the vets and my family we decided that with his age, putting him through such a traumatic operation at his age was not the best solution. Myself and the vets are keeping a very close eye on him.

My poor niece was devastated when I told her, she has grew up with him. So for the week I had off she stayed over at mine spending lots of precious time with him, with lots of hugs, kisses and lots of treats.

At the moment he is not too bad, he has had better days but being very honest every single day is a sheer blessing. All of my spare time at the moment is spent looking after him he is such a special little baby words cannot describe.

One thing this has taught me is to always live life to the fullest every single day, because you just don’t know what is round the corner.
